I hope you are staying warm as we roll into the new year of 2011. Hopefully this year is bringing increased morale and numerous opportunities.
I am looking for the next step in my career and the perfect place to challenge myself while acting as a valuable asset to the team. My comprehensive experience in public relations/event management, together with my devotion and pursuit of perfection, will contribute to the further growth of the team I am a part of, from the events perspective. I believe the most essential qualification for this industry is the ability to plan and coordinate public events, while maintaining a capacity for effective guidance and the talent to motivate staff for teamwork. I am competent in handling multiple facets of event planning such as: research for different venues, budget management, contract negotiation, events` promotion, and outcome reporting. I will characterize myself as a problem solver, excellent team player, hard-working, energetic, and able to relate to people.
I can be depended on to roll up my sleeves when the going gets rough. I bring to the table exceptional organizational, time management and problem solving skills and a proven capacity for meeting company objectives and demands. Coupled with a flair for creativity and ability to critically evaluate situations, I feel confident that I have what it takes to hit the ground running and strengthen any organization.
Much of my experience comes from the agency side. I adapted writing styles to client tastes. I achieved high level of group and outside collaboration on client-based tasks. I created and pitched product proposals to clients for approval and feedback. And, as part of the team, I created marketing materials that the client could professionally use and reproduce. I understand the need to add value through marketing and create an image that essentially relays into a return on investment and increased brand awareness. I have developed event based PR campaigns and managed large scale corporate events – from planning through logistics and execution – in both New York City, USA and London, England.
Through these practices, it has been articulated that I am an excellent self starter and team player with a can-do attitude. I am detail and solution oriented, to see that a program is flawlessly executed. To that end, I work well under pressure and find that I am a good problem solver. One of my biggest strengths is my impeccable follow up skills as I stay on top of an asset until completion. My determination to create and deliver extraordinary results is what ignites my passion and has helped me succeed.
